Why We Use Affiliate Links
Hi! If you’re looking at this page, you are probably wondering why we use affiliate links. Well, I’m going to tell you.
So, why affiliate links?
I love blogging. As a very wordy person who also happens to be a writer, blogging is a ton of fun. Unfortunately, unlike a typical job, there is no one depositing money into my bank account every two weeks. I make my money a few different ways, one of which is through selling my ebooks, doing consulting, and through affiliate links. You see, when you click my affiliate links, if you buy something I get a small percentage of the money. It won’t cost you anything more, and it helps support my website.
If you’re paid for sales made through your affiliate links, how do I know that you’re not just selling me stuff?
This blog is how I pay my bills, but before it was my income, it was just a thing I did to share the fun things I am learning, including deals I am finding. My mother, my grandmother, and my friends read my blog, and they will know if I am sharing something that isn’t something I really use. I don’t ever want to lose the respect of my family and friends’ respect, so I promise never to recommend anything to you without telling you what I really think about it. I want my website to be a place people can come and know that if they’re reading a review of mine, they can trust it.
So, what’s the bottom line?
I’ll always tell you the truth about products I recommend, so if you would like to support my site, I would appreciate you clicking through my affiliate links. It helps keep the lights on and lets me keep blogging.
